Project Brief
A focused set of CGI shots and product visualisations created specifically for our showreel. The Beats Pill - known for its iconic minimalist design - called for a premium, refined visual treatment. Across multiple colourways and environments, from close-up outdoor lifestyle shots to a dynamic water simulation, we set out to honour the product's aesthetic while deliberately pushing the boundaries of what we could achieve technically.
02.
Approach
For the technically demanding shots, we worked methodically - optimising modifier stacks and simulation settings to keep things stable without compromising the final quality. The visual direction stayed rooted in the product itself: clean environments, considered lighting, and materials that let the Pill's minimalist design do the talking.
01.
Challenge
Two shots in particular tested our limits - a complex fluid simulation with water wrapping around the speaker, and a shot built on a heavy stack of modifiers that pushed our scene management and render pipeline to its edge.
03.
Outcome
The project delivered on both fronts. We successfully translated the Beats Pill's premium aesthetic into CGI, and proved our ability to handle complex lifestyle product visualisation.
